Warm Oil Lower-Back Therapy
Kati Basti
What It Is
A dam made of soft dough is built around the lower back, and warm medicated oil is poured inside and kept at a steady temperature for a sustained, localized treatment.
Who It's For
Specifically targeted at chronic lower back discomfort, disc-related concerns, and lumbar stiffness — one of the most common concerns in our community.
What to Expect During Your Session
- You'll lie face-down while the dough well is built around the lower back.
- Warm oil is poured in and topped up to stay warm for 20–30 minutes.
- A brief gentle lymphatic circulation technique may follow before the area is cleaned.
Preparation & Aftercare
Avoid strenuous lower-back activity immediately after. Keep the area warm for the rest of the day.
Contraindications
Discuss with your physician if you have a spinal implant, recent back surgery, or an active skin condition on the lower back.
Duration & Pricing
$80 per session (20 min) · $480 for an 8-day program.
